Home Care Plus recently held a carer’s night out in the Old School Yard pub and restaurant. It was a hugely successful night enabling carers to get to know each other and swap tips and information about their care experiences.
It also allowed us to say a small thank you to our carers for the tremendous work they have being carrying out and the dedication they have shown to their tasks.
Home Care Plus has recently added two new recruits to our team. Josephine Kinsella, a registered nurse, has recently joined us from St. Vincents University Hospital. Josephine has many years of clinical nursing experience in various hospitals as well as having hands on experience of caring. Josephine has come on board as our Home Care Manager and will have overall responsibility for the day to day management of the company with particular emphasis on relations with clients and medical professionals.
Liza Grennan has joined at the same time and her role is as Home Care Co-ordinator. She will be involved in the rostering and matching of carers with clients, handling client enquiries and over viewing our administration. Liza has a master in Applied Psychology (Mental Health) from the University of Ulster.
We feel both Josephine and Liza will be valuable additions to our team going forward, ensuring Home Care Plus continue providing a high level of professional care and support.
