When an enquiry comes in, our care manager visits the person needing care, to do a free assessment of their home environment and their care needs in conjunction with the client and/or family. This is to ascertain how we can contribute and also to help us match the carer with the client. We also at this stage set out very clearly our charges and the complete cost of the service being proposed.
All our carers are carefully vetted and receive full training to ensure the highest possible standards of care and trust. We have specific software that helps us to match a carer with a client from a suitability and timing viewpoint. During carer holidays or sick periods we provide suitable cover.
Once we have selected the carer, our care manager will introduce the client to the carer in their home and comprehensively explain the care needed. They will also leave a copy of the individual care plan drawn up from the assessment process which will also be used for ongoing communication between us and the client.
Our care manager will then periodically visit the client to supervise and support the carer as well as continually assessing the home care needed and the quality of care given.
