    Michael is a graduate of UCD and spent many years abroad involved in a variety of businesses. Michael has an in depth knowledge of setting up and running his own business and brings an innovative spirit to the table. Inspired by his own mother's Lewy Bodies Dementia, he set up Home Care Plus to provide quality non-medical care at home for people who through age or illness are finding it difficult to continue living independently. Michael is married to Elmagh and they have two children Patrick and Sofia.

    Michael graduated from UCD medical School in 1994 and completed his internship in St Vincent Hospital Dublin in 1995. He was accepted on to the East Coast region general practice training scheme and completed this to become a fully qualified GP in 1998. In 1996 and 1997 he completed his DCH (diploma in child health) and the DME (diploma in medicine of the elderly). He established his own practice, Sandyford Hall medical center in 1999. He continues to work fulltime in this successful practice and looks after people of all ages. In 2003 he was invited to become the resident doctor on "Open House", an afternoon show on RTE with "Marty and Mary". Michael continues to write a monthly "opinion article for "Forum", the journal of the Irish college of general practitioners. Michael has a keen interest in rugby and continues to be the team doctor to the Irish under 20 rugby team. He is married with three kids aged 11 and 8 and 6. He established his own practice, Sandyford Hall medical centre in 1999. He continues to work fulltime in this successful practice and looks after people of all ages.     Clare's career in the health and social care sector in the UK spans 25 years. She has an in depth knowledge of the sector and has run her own home care company. Clare was involved in the UK Department of Health's final consultation for the National Minimum Care Standards (NMCS) for Domiciliary Agencies. Clare is a dignity champion for older people and a consumer rights writer / author for people requiring care services. Author of "How To Get Good Care Services", she has also written for various magazine and national newspapers in the UK on the subject. Clare's role is focused on ensuring that in the absences of minimum standards in Ireland, Home Care Plus works to the high standards set by UK regulations for the sector. rights writer / author for people requiring care services.     Aislinn is a qualified nurse who brings with her a huge amount of experience. She has held various senior positions in the Mater Private including Clinical Nurse Manager II as well as being involved in the setting up of their Day Therapy Clinic. Aislinn brings a great understanding of the need to ensure, the care we deliver in the home setting, adapts to the existing routine and lifestyle of our clients. Aislinn also has an important input into making sure our policies and procedures are suitable and effective. Aislinn enjoys tennis and horse riding and also is a keen traveller.

    Amy is a qualified nurse from Trinity College with wide experience in both acute settings and the community. Amy deals directly with our clients as well as liaising with relevant health professionals. She has spent time in Australia where she also worked as a carer. She is very efficient and gets through mountains of work fuelled by ordering in Pizza at lunchtime! Amy is a keen singer although she has yet to be tempted to give us a few bars on our office nights out! As well as singing, Amy also enjoys sports playing both tennis and golf.

    Aoife O’Dowd (Occupational Therapist) Aoife is a qualified OT who previously worked in Cheeverstown and as a senior OT with the HSE. Aoife is presently completing a BA (hons) degree in Business Studies. Aoife has brought a real get up and go attitude to our team and will also be further developing our networking efforts in the future.

    Winnie is our recruitment manager. She has a diploma in Health & Social Care from Lewisham College. She has hands on experience of working as a carer and as such brings great insight to her role of recruiting our carers. She has also worked in customer support roles. Winnie is originally from Kenya but fell for the charms of an Irishman! She is always up for a bit of fun and usually picks the venues for our office nights out!

    Oonagh, a philosophy graduate from Trinity college, has several years experience working with voluntary groups such as meals on wheels and the Barretstown gang camp. She is involved with the interviewing and matching of our carers with our clients. She also helps Con with assessments as well as being involved with the running of the office. Oonagh is married with four children aged between 17 and 10.

    “Aleksandra joined Home Care Plus in January 2013 and has become an integral part of our team looking after coordinating the placement of carers as well as doing invoicing and payroll. She ensures everyone is where they are supposed to be at any given time. Her background is administration and accountancy. Aleksandra brings a keen eye for detail to her work as well as having an in depth knowledge of our carers and their skillsets. She also wins the healthy lunch prize!

    Anna is a recent Business Management graduate from the National College of Ireland. She has experience in telesales and also as a locum coordinator with a pharmacy company. With us she is responsible for client and carer rostering one of the more pressurised jobs in Home Care Plus! She has a great aptitude of putting all the pieces of the roster jigsaw together! Anna is also our resident young person, regaling us with stories of music festivals and concerts! She keeps busy by playing tennis and running.
